Ms. Pickett graduated from from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1994, where she learned how to make scale models. She graduated from New York University with a Master of Urban Planning in 2003. She continues to reside and work in New York City. Her memberships include the National Model Railroad Association and the Queens Council on the Arts.
